Question: Do you know other reasons why invasives are harmful?  
Invasive species are capable of causing extinctions of native plants and animals, reducing biodiversity, competing with native organisms for limited resources, and altering habitats.
Natural Diversity - a common term used in science that generally refers to the variety of plants and animals found in a particular place or ecosystem. The term biodiversity is often used interchangeably with natural diversity.
